Chris Brown and Young Thug “Go Crazy” on their joint debut on Billboard‘s Songs of the Summer chart this week (dated Aug. 29) with a late entry at No. 20.
But DaBaby‘s “Rockstar,” featuring Roddy Ricch, goes crazier for its 11th week at the No. 1 spot, following the single’s seven-week stint at the top of the Billboard Hot 100.
The following four songs in the summery summary’s top five hold onto their positions near the end of the season: The Weeknd‘s “Blinding Lights” at No. 2; Megan Thee Stallion‘s “Savage” remix, featuring Beyoncé, at No. 3; Jack Harlow’s “Whats Poppin,” featuring DaBaby, Tory Lanez and Lil Wayne, at No. 4; and Saint Jhn‘s “Roses” at No. 5.
The Songs of the Summer summary tracks the most popular titles based on cumulative performance on the weekly streaming-, airplay- and sales-based Hot 100 chart from Memorial Day through Labor Day (this year encompassing charts dated June 6 through Sept. 12). At the end of the season (after just two more chart weeks following this week), the top song of the summer will be revealed.
