RuPaul’s Drag Race: All-Stars 3 winner, Trixie Mattel, is back to crash the All-Stars party on season 5 of this spinoff series. She came back for a special YouTube video, this one following the “Charles Family Backyard Barbeque Ball” challenge on this season of Drag Race. Here’s what you might’ve missed.
Trixie Mattel was the winner of ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race: All-Stars 3’
Fans are in the final stretch of RuPaul’s Drag Race: All-Stars 5, where, in just a few weeks, they’ll find out whose pictures will be hanging in the “Drag Race Hall of Fame.” In true All-Stars fashion, RuPaul invited a few queens back to make an appearance, whether that be as a lip-sync assassin or just to say hi to the competitors.
Most recently, that included Trixie Mattel, the winner of All-Stars 3, who came to talk to the Top 5 after the “Charles Family Backyard Barbeque Ball.” She cracked a few jokes along the way, poking fun at Jujubee and the other queens.
“The glow-up took some time we didn’t really have lace front [wigs] when I was there and now we got them, I got a nice cheek highlight,” Jujubee said to Trixie Mattel of her transformation.
“Well so much has gone down, women’s suffrage, Eli Whitney invented the cotton gin,” Trixie Mattel joked.
Trixie Mattel returned to spill some tea with the ‘All-Stars 5’ competitors
The All-Stars 3 winner asked the queens about the competition, even getting some tea about who was “sweating” the sewing challenge. She also gave reassurance to queens like Miz Cracker who, as she said, gave her a lot of support following her elimination from season 10.
“I just realized that they only brought you here because you are a country girl and we’re having a country picnic and they’re just pigeonholing you,” Miz Cracker said, pointing to Trixie’s country-inspired outfit.
“Do you like how because I play a guitar they think that I’m sitting on an overturned milk bucket like ‘howdy,’” Trixie Mattel replied. “I’m not even from the south, I’m from Wisconsin which is the furthest north. But listen, I’m happy to be here. Maybe I’m also here because I won, Cracker.”
Fans are down to the Top 4 of ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race: All-Stars 5’
Who has the most charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent? For this season, the competitors still eligible for the crown include Blair St. Clair, Miz Cracker, Jujubee, and Shea Couleé. Although there are a few frontrunners, there’s no telling who will be the winner of this competition series.
New episodes of RuPaul’s Drag Race: All-Stars 5 premiere on a weekly basis on VH1. Already released seasons, including those with Trixie Mattel, are available in certain countries will a subscription to WOW Presents Plus, the World of Wonder streaming platform.
