Saroj Khan passed away on Friday due to cardiac arrest at the age of 71 in Mumbai. While

Sushant Singh Rajput, this news left the entire industry in a state of shock.
The three-times National Award-winning choreographer had worked with the likes of
Madhuri Dixit, Shilpa Shetty and many others in her illustrious career which spanned over many decades. While actress Madhuri was her favourite student, Saroj had once praised
Hrithik Roshan for his stellar dance moves.
Talking about the ‘Super 30’ actor in a throwback interview Saroj had called him a born dancer when quizzed about the best dancer in Bollywood. Not only that, but she also added that he makes a choreographers work difficult because even they end up thinking of steps to give him. Well, that was not all, as she added that Hrithik doesn’t need anyone to choreograph him as he can do it himself.

Hrithik also took to social media to pen a heartfelt note in Saroj Khan’s memory as he wrote, “Thank you Saroj ji for nurturing my passion in so many ways. Your legend will remain. Thank you for the love and the magic. R.I.P. There will never be another like you.”

Saroj Khan’s family even took to social media to announce that they will have a prayer meet once things go back to normal post the ongoing pandemic. They wrote, “Thank you for all your messages and for keeping Mummy in your prayers. Given the current COVID-19 situation, there will be no prayer meet. Whenever the situation improves, we will meet and celebrate the life of Saroj Khan. 🙏”
