The Mandalorian season 2 is just a few weeks away, and Disney has finally given fans their first look at the series’ return.
In case you don’t remember where things left off after The Mandalorian’s first season, here’s a quick refresher: Mando and Baby Yoda (aka The Child) narrowly escaped the pursuit of Imperial Agent Moff Gideon, thanks to some help from Cara Dune, Greef Karga, and a bounty droid called IG-11. But while Moff Gideon was momentary thwarted, he was revealed to be in possession of the Darksaber, and likely to still be on the trail of the bounty hunter.
Even after this short preview, The Mandalorian season 2’s plot details are still a bit of a mystery. But one thing we do know about season two are some of the characters and actors that are likely to appear. Rosario Dawson reportedly joins the show’s cast as fan-favorite character Ahsoka Tano, while Star Wars prequel actor Temuera Morrison is also in the mix. Morrison played Boba’s clone-father Jango Fett in Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones, and the role is expected to be some form of a reprisal.
The Mandalorian season 2 arrives to Disney Plus on Oct. 30. Here’s the first poster for the new season:
