NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WJHL) — The Tennessee Department of Health reported 106,946 confirmed cases and 1,238 probable cases of COVID-19 in the state on Saturday, an increase of 3,088 total cases since Friday.
The health department also announced 1,030 confirmed deaths, 4,724 hospitalizations, and 67,651 recoveries. More than 1.5 million coronavirus tests have been administered.
On Friday, TDH reported 104,778 confirmed cases and 1,023 confirmed deaths.
TDH reported 159 new cases in our area: 50 in Washington County, 29 in Sullivan County, 25 in Johnson County, 18 in Greene County, 17 in Carter County, 13 in Hawkins County, and seven in Unicoi County.
