With Star Wars 1313 canceled, the chances of us getting a Star Wars game about bounty hunters in the near future is looking pretty grim. Thankfully, a helpful modder has arrived to give us the next-best thing: Din Djarin in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
NexusMod user AlexPo21 added the lead character from The Mandalorian to the game, complete with his full costume from the show’s second season. The Din Djarin character model comes with custom cosmetic options, including the option to wear his cape and jetpack. According to AlexPo21, the model works best when combined with the Stormtrooper voice pack mod for the game — which was originally created by the user KillerCarth.
One slight quirk of the mod is that Jedi: Fallen Order has almost no ranged combat to speak of, and since that’s Din’s most frequent means of combat, he’s got a new arsenal here. Just like Cal Kestis, the protagonist of the original game — since this model is just a replacement for Cal’s — Din uses lightsabers to take out the enemies of Fallen Order. But in a tease on the mod’s official page, AlexPo21 says they’re working on a functioning blaster, jetpack, and flamethrower at the moment.
While this isn’t quite the full-fledged bounty hunter game that fans might be hoping for, it is a fantastic-looking mod, and a great excuse to go back and play Fallen Order again.
