New lovebirds Renée Zellweger and Ant Anstead have been photographed together for the first time.
The Oscar-winning actress and the British TV host were spotted Friday at his new “dream” house in Laguna Beach, Calif., taking in the views of the Pacific Ocean from the balcony.
Both Zellweger, 52, and Anstead, 42, were snapped wearing sweats and comfy clothes, with her hair pulled into a messy updo and held in place by a scrunchie. The “Chicago” star appeared to be enjoying a cup of coffee in a mug borrowed from Anstead — who has three kids — which read, “Home is where Dad is.”
Zellweger and Anstead were first reported to be dating on June 24 — just days after news broke that he had finalized his divorce from “Flip or Flop” star Christina Haack.
The pair reportedly met while the “Bridget Jones’s Diary” star was filming an episode of Anstead’s upcoming Discovery+ series “Celebrity IOU Joyride,” according to TMZ.
“Sometimes two people just meet and click, and the timing is right,” an insider told People late last month. “Renée is creative … and often goes for guys who think out of the box. She’s smart, thoughtful, and always looking to expand horizons and nurture those around her.”
Anstead’s Laguna Beach house, where he and Zellweger were pictured, is a recent purchase. He bought the pad in May after living in a rented studio apartment for 10 months following his separation from Haack.
“It’s the house of my dreams,” he told People. “A home is, for me, the foundation of a life, and I’ve got so much coming up in the next few months, the next few years, that I need a solid base, and the timing of it all is just so perfect.”
He plans to live there with Hudson, his young son with Haack, and renovate the property himself.
Zellweger was most recently linked to rock guitarist Doyle Bramhall II, whom she dated from 2012 to 2019.
