Like many people around the world, Priyanka Chopra’s life has changed quite a bit since the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic started. The pandemic no doubt comes with a lot of downsides. However, Chopra has also realized two positive outcomes for her—things that she does not miss from her pre-COVID life.
Priyanka Chopra has been working a lot during the pandemic
Chopra has been spending a lot of time in quarantine at home in Los Angeles with her husband, Nick Jonas. Though she might was not physically present at work for a long time, she managed to be productive nonetheless.
In April, Chopra told Vogue, “Nick and I have used the quarantine not only to spend time with each other, but also to sharpen our creative skills and to write and develop projects we want to produce. We find a movie or a filmmaker we want to watch every night just for inspiration.”
Additionally, Chopra also managed to finish writing her memoir, Unfinished. She announced its completion in early August, writing on Twitter, “Just about sent in the final manuscript! Wheee! Cannot wait to share it with you all. Every word in my memoir comes from a place of introspection and reflection into my life.” Chopra’s memoir is expected to be released in March 2021.

While some celebrities have ignored social distancing guidelines to throw parties and travel to other countries, Chopra and Jonas actually take quarantine very seriously.
“We’ve been very, very safe actually, because Nick is Type 1 [diabetic], and I’m asthmatic,” Chopra told ET Online. “So, you know, we’ve just been super careful about who we interact with and how we do it.”
In fact, Chopra and Jonas also took precautions before most people did. She told Vogue that they “were supposed to be in India for Holi, but we cut our trip short and came back to America because we were worried about borders being locked down.”
Chopra has since started working again on movie sets. She has a number of projects in the work, including roles in the films We Can Be Heroes, The Matrix 4, and The White Tiger. Chopra also produced the recently-released Amazon movie Evil Eye.

Many people probably have some things from pre-COVID life that they miss. For Chopra, though, there are actually some things she is glad to not be experiencing during the pandemic.
She shared with ET Online, “Traffic. I don’t miss being stuck in traffic and going to meetings.”
Additionally, Chopra is also “grateful” she does not often have to dress up like before, noting that these days she can “wear sweatpants with a formal shirt” while doing an interview.
However, back in May, she did share with InStyle that she occasionally wears Louboutin heels at home to feel “normal” again.
