Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his fiancée and part KC NWSL owner Brittany Matthews celebrated their first Easter as parents on Sunday.Mahomes shared a family picture on his Instagram page the happy family celebrating Sterling Mahomes’ first Easter. Sterling Mahomes was wearing a pink headband and a pink and white outfit in the photo, while Patrick and Brittany appeared to be loving the special family moment.In the photo, Mahomes can also be seen with a walking boot on left foot. Mahomes is continuing to recover from a February surgery to fix his “turf toe.” The Chiefs and Mahomes said the surgery was successful and recovery could take up to 16 weeks. Earlier this week, Sterling Mahomes took in her first Kansas City Royals game on Opening Day. At the Royals’ game, Sterling was wearing a Royals T-shirt with No. 15 on the backOver the summer, Mahomes joined a group as partial owner of the Royals.Mahomes spent a lot of time in baseball clubhouses as a kid since his father pitched for 11 seasons in Major League Baseball.The Royals beat the Texas Rangers 14-10 in the home opener.
