Paige reacts to WWE’s edict to ban wrestlers from engaging with third parties like Twitch, YouTube and Cameo – Wrestling News

Following the news about Vince McMahon/WWE banning wrestlers from working with third parties (Twitch, YouTube, Cameo, etc), Paige announced that she has changed the name of her Twitch channel.

She sent out the following email to her Twitch subscribers:

“Hey guys, Just a quick announcement, my twitch name has been changed to my real name not my stage name!

Its now SarayaOfficial! Thank you all and ill see you Sunday for the last chance to be in the biggest giveaways I’ve ever done!

Paige/Saraya xox”

As noted earlier, a letter was sent out to the talent this week that says that they have 30 days to stop engaging with third parties or they could face fines, suspensions, or termination from WWE at their discretion.

This is a portion of the letter that was sent to the talent: “Some of you are engaged with outside third parties using your name and likeness in ways that are detrimental to our company. It is imperative that these activities be terminated within the next 30 days (by Friday October 2). Continued violations will result in fines, suspension, or termination at WWE’s discretion.”

WWE also reportedly told the talent that the company is about to enter the “next phase of growth at WWE.”

Most of the WWE talent has not commented on this story but obviously, many of them are upset since they make a significant amount of money through these streaming platforms.
