She’s no longer staying Munn.
Olivia Munn has received tons of support from fellow moms after boyfriend John Mulaney revealed that they were expecting a child together.
“I’m feeling really good and just the outpouring of love and support has been really amazing. There has been a really big mom tribe that comes up,” Munn, 41, recently told Access Daily. “I’ve heard about it, but they really come up in full force.”
She continued, “There’s a really great dad tribe too, everyone who comes up is really supportive and it means so much to me.”
As for whether she wants to know the sex of their baby, the actress said she may want to be surprised.
“I haven’t decided if I’ll find out yet or not but I’ll take that to heart,” she said, adding, “It’s a good surprise to find out. There’s very few surprises in life.”
Earlier this week, Mulaney, 39, confirmed that he and Munn were going to be parents during his appearance on “Late Night With Seth Meyers.”
The comic summarized his rehab stints and separation from his wife of seven years before explaining, “I went to Los Angeles and met and started to date a wonderful woman named Olivia and we’re having a baby together.”
He added, “I was nervous when I was about to say the news … I’m gonna be a dad!”
Mulaney struck up his romance with Munn in May just days after the news broke that he was divorcing Anna Marie Tendler.
A source told Page Six at the time that Mulaney asked for a divorce from Tendler three months before their breakup was announced.
“I am heartbroken that John has decided to end our marriage,” Tendler had said through a spokesperson. “I wish him support and success as he continues his recovery.”
But as Page Six reported this week, many are skeptical of the relationship timeline that Munn and Mulaney have been pushing.
“It isn’t entirely clear when their relationship started,” a source said. “There have been rumors for months about her being pregnant, and it all just seems like a very tight timeline.”
Mulaney checked into rehab in September 2020 as well as in December for cocaine and alcohol abuse. He checked out after two months and went into outpatient sober care, with a source saying at the time, “He is doing well, although he is still not ready to return to work.”
