Prince Harry and Meghan Markle marked the anniversary of Princess Diana’s death by planting her favourite flower, forget-me-nots, with pre-school children in Los Angeles.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex helped children replant their garden at the Preschool Learning Centre in Los Angeles on 1 September, which marked the 23rd anniversary of Diana’s death.
Images of Harry and Meghan’s recent visit were shared on the Assistance League of Los Angeles Instagram account, where the couple were pictured wearing coordinating blue denim outfits for the poignant appearance.
Meghan opted for a double denim ensemble, pairing a light denim shirt with indigo jeans, while Harry wore a navy shirt and denim jeans.
Meghan finished off her look with a pair of pointed toe pumps from Rothy’s, which retail for £133.20.
The eco-friendly fashion brand use recycled materials to create their comfortable, stylish and versatile designs.
‘The Point’ flats come in an array of colours and prints, and are available in sizes 5 to 13, as well as half sizes too.
Meghan has been seen wearing Rothy’s pumps numerous times before, including on a visit to Melbourne Beach and Taronga Zoo during the the couple’s first official royal tour of Australia in 2018.
Both Meghan and Harry also wore face masks for the gardening visit.
Meghan wore a disposable blue mask, while Harry donned a black fabric face covering.
It’s the second time the couple have been seen wearing face masks while out in Los Angeles, which is now a mandatory requirement in California in numerous public places, such as in shops or high-risk settings, to help stop the spread of the coronavirus.
Last month, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex volunteered with LA charity, Baby2Bab, where Meghan wore a face mask which featured a blue seersucker print and was designed by New York-based Royal Jelly Harlem, which cost $15 (approximately £11.44).
