The relationship between Kenya Moore and Marc Daly has definitely been a talking point for The Real Housewives of Atlanta viewers for the past two seasons. While it looked like they were done and then got back together, it looks like the couple may be doing for good, if Daly’s recent statement is anything to go by.
Kenya Moore and Marc Daly’s trouble marriage played out on ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’
Daly is a businessman and restaurant owner. He and Moore got married in June 2017. The next year, Moore announced they were pregnant with their first child. The couple’s Brooklyn Doris Daly, was born on November 4, 2018. They named her Brooklyn because Daly and Moore first met in the New York City borough of Brooklyn.
The couple’s journey has been rough to say the least. Moore and Daly broke up in 2018 and Moore said she was filing for divorce. But it looked like they remained together for a while continued to co-parent Brooklyn together.
At the end of season 11 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, viewers saw a huge disagreement between the couple when they were already on the rocks. Through the season, Moore stated that she did not feel like she and Daly were in a good place. In one episode, Daly returned to Atlanta and had a family dinner with Moore and Brooklyn. During the dinner, Daly appeared to be disinterested in Moore and only concerned about their daughter, which bothered Moore.
In November 2019, Moore told US Weekly, “I do think that things could get back on track if you have two people that want to. It’s good. We’re very cordial, very kind to each other right now. We’re working really well together and just being there for our daughter. I can’t really hope for anything else right now in terms of how we’re co-parenting. It’s been really wonderful so far.”
Marc Daly puts out a statement that the marriage is over
In an exclusive statement given to The Root, Daly confirmed that he and Moore were splitting. “After recently attending mediation, Kenya and I have agreed to end our marriage,” he said in part. “I will always have great care for her and look forward to amicably continuing to co-parent our daughter Brooklyn with an abundance of love and wisdom.”

Daly also noted that his focus would be on using his restaurant to help the community of Brooklyn amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
“As always, in addition to perpetual self-improvement, my primary focus will continue to be helping the underserved and people of color in Brooklyn to recover from the negative impact of the COVID – 19 pandemic,” he continued. “This focus will take shape through using my restaurant as a ‘Community Hub’ where positive and diverse perspectives on important topics such as economic empowerment, social activism and political engagement can be highlighted in a safe and productive forum. I’m blessed to be a positive change agent for not just my family but also my community.”
As of yet, Moore has not made addressed Daly’s statement.
