Limited number of COVID-19 vaccine appointments to be made available on Tuesday in Allegheny County

Appointments will be for the Castle Shannon vaccine site

People who do not have access to the internet will have the opportunity to call for a limited number of first-dose COVID-19 vaccine appointments in Allegheny County starting at 9 a.m. on Tuesday.Those individuals, who must be age 65 and older, will need to make their appointments through the 2-1-1 line.According to a news release from Allegheny County, all of these appointments are for the county’s location at the Castle Shannon VFD Banquet Hall at 3600 Library Road.Appointments are required at that location.According to the news release, any person arriving at the site without an appointment, or who is not 65 and older, will be turned away.
