For two years, Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott appeared to be the perfect couple. The pair met at Coachella in 2017, and from that first connection, the duo was joined at the hip. The makeup mogul was immediately enamored with the Houston-born rapper and decided to follow him on tour. By the top of the following year, the pair were welcoming their daughter, Stormi, into the world.
From lavish trips and gifts to playdates with Stormi, the young couple seemed to be on the right track. Though they were open about their love with one another with PDA, they kept their issues private and out of the spotlight.
However, that all came to a screeching halt in September 2019 when the pair called it quits seemingly out of the blue. Since there has never been any animosity between them, fans assumed they were simply on a break. Now, it’s become clear that the co-parents aren’t putting any pressure on rekindling their romance.

Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott’s breakup was shocking
The Astroworld rapper and Kylie Cosmetics founder’s split stunned the world. There had never been any confirmed rumors of infidelity or animosity. In fact, the pair spoke highly of each other at every turn. However, it appeared that their lifestyle differences were the cause of friction between the duo. An insider revealed their alleged issues to Hollywood Life.
Travis was getting antsy not going out more now that Stormi is older and he wanted to live the life he has afforded himself and be out and about more. Though Kylie is young and wants to go out herself, she is also a wonderful mother and wants to live her life as a family. He really likes focusing on touring instead of chilling with Kylie and Stormi. Not that it isn’t fun for him, but it is something he doesn’t always want to do. [Kylie] doesn’t like Travis not wanting to be there more often doing the family thing and that was one of the initial strains that brought upon the breakup.
Later during an interview for XXL, Scott revealed that being in the spotlight was also extremely challenging for their relationship. “The hard part about relationships is just trying to be in one without a million outside voices interfering,” he said.

Travis Scott and Kylie Jenner seem better off as friends
Though they are no longer in a relationship, the former couple spends a ton of time together, with and without their daughter.
“We’re like, best friends,” Jenner told Harper’s Bazaar of her current relationship with Scott. “We both love Stormi and want what’s best for her. We stay connected and coordinated. I think about in situations with Stormi, what they would do. They were very hands-on with me, and I want the same for Stormi.”
The pair spent a ton of time together amid quarantine and Jenner threw Scott a lovely Father’s Day party complete with cookies and balloons.
Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott aren’t pressuring themselves to get back together
In the months following their breakup, Jenner was linked to rapper Drake, which seemed to light a fuse under Scott. “He is still hopeful that there’s a chance that they’ll reconcile,” an insider told US Weekly at the time. “They stay in touch and hang out.”
However when the reports of Jenner’s relationship with the “God’s Plan” rapper faded, so did any rumors of a reunion between the former couple. It appears that they are happy exactly where they are.
“Kylie is at a place in her life where she’s having fun and is not worried about what her future romantic relationship with Travis looks like,” a source told Us Weekly. “They love spending time together and parenting Stormi.”
Another source added that they may “end up back together one day, but they’re not putting pressure on the situation.”
