Kim Kardashian axed a joke about her sister Khloe Kardashian tolerating serial cheater Tristan Thompson’s ‘side pieces’ from her Saturday Night Live appearance.
The reality star, 41, shared the gag from an early draft of her opening monologue during a catch up with Amy Schumer, 40.
On the latest episode of The Kardashians, Kim was filmed visiting the comedian to get advice and feedback ahead of her SNL debut.
‘Oh Khloe, you have the biggest heart. It’s so big, it has room for Tristan and all of his side-pieces,’ Kim, 41, told Amy Schumer as she ran through her jokes.
‘Oh s**t!’ a shocked Amy said in reaction to the remark.
‘It has room for… all of his side-pieces’: Kim Kardashian shared the joke she had ultimately cut from her Saturday Night Live monologue about Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson
The joke ultimately didn’t make the final cut.
Kim revealed in an interview with i-D magazine conducted after her appearance on that show that she had the remark removed.
‘I had a really funny joke about Tristan Thompson and Khloe that I took out – I could’ve maybe gone further,’ she said.
The Khloe joke wasn’t the only crack removed from her monologue.
‘Oh s**t!’ The joke surprised Amy Schumer, who was helping Kim prepare for her monologue

One joke which didn’t make the final cut featured Kanye who was impersonated by Chris Redd asking Kim – who was studying for the bar – to be his lawyer in their divorce.
The cut line from Kanye went: ‘Ok fine you can divorce me but I need a lawyer, will you be my lawyer fam?’
Kim then would have replied: ‘No Kanye!’ to which he would have retorted: ‘Fine and you’re not getting a penny, I have the prenup right here!’

Discussing cutting joke with producers during rehearsals the day before the show, Kim said: ‘I am always afraid of hurting people’s feelings.
‘I would never go in there making fun of anyone, especially the father of my kids. Just because we didn’t work out doesn’t mean we don’t have a great love and respect for each other.’
She added: ‘The divorce is so sensitive for him and I’m already saying some in the monologue so I don’t want to make it bad. Maybe I can talk to Chris (Redd) and make it more funny as it is super sensitive for him.
‘I know he wants to be a part of it but let’s be careful.’

SNL producer Lindsay Shookus then said to Kim: ‘It is not unusual for us to make line changes so we can sort it before the night.’
It is possible that the sketch in question was ‘The People’s Kourt,’ in which Kim impersonated sister Kourtney Kardashian and presided over their family’s issues.
While Chris did impersonate Kanye, there was no mention of the divorce in that part.
Instead, the SNL writers poked fun at some of Kanye’s more memorable tweets.

However in her opening monologue Kim did discuss Kanye, saying: ‘I married the best rapper of all time. Not only that, he’s the richest Black man in America.
‘A talented, legit genius who gave me four incredible kids. So, when I divorced him, you have to know it came down to one thing: his personality.’
Kim shares kids North, eight, Saint, six, Chicago, four, and Psalm, two, with Kanye who she filed for divorce from in February 2021.
Kim is now dating fellow SNL star Pete Davidson while Kim has recently been spotted with Kim lookalike Chaney Jones.
