A tweet in favor of Pete gets a retweet.
Kim Kardashian co-signed a comment on Twitter Thursday that praised her boyfriend, Pete Davidson, amid her ex-husband Kanye West’s ongoing social media tirades about the “Saturday Night Live” star.
Filmmaker James Gunn, who worked with Davidson, 28, in the 2016 movie “Suicide Squad,” tweeted on Thursday morning, “For the record, Pete Davidson is one of the nicest, sweetest guys I know. A truly generous, tender & funny spirit, he treats everyone around him with respect.”
Kardashian, 41, non-discreetly “liked” the tweet, and it appeared in the reality star’s “likes” feed for all of her 71.4 million Twitter followers to see.
The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” alum has had to defend her new beau as West, 44, continues to bash him online and in his songs.
The “Heartless” rapper previously referred to the Staten Island native as a “d–khead,” seemingly shaded him in his feature for Fivio Foreign’s new single, “City of Gods,” and threatened to “beat his ass” on his recent track “Eazy.”
Kardashian allegedly warned her ex in a series of private text messages — which West leaked online — that she was concerned for Davidson’s safety as a result of the cyberbullying.
“U are creating a dangerous and scary environment and someone will hurt Pete and this will all be your fault,” the Skims founder allegedly wrote to the hip-hop icon.
West, who refers to Davidson as “Skete,” replied with a now-deleted post that said, “UPON MY WIFE’S REQUEST PLEASE NOBODY DO ANYTHING PHYSICAL TO SKETE IM GOING TO HANDLE THE SITUATION MYSELF.”
Kardashian unfollowed West on Instagram following his non-stop social media rants.
In a text that West leaked online, the “King of Staten Island” star once told the Yeezy CEO in private, “And you as a man I’d never get in the way of your children. It’s a promise. How you guys go about raising your children is your business not mine. I do hope one I day I can meet them and we can all be friends.”
West and Kardashian share four kids: North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 2.
But despite his children’s mother’s and Davidson’s pleas, West’s attacks have not stopped.
Most recently, the billionaire rapper released a jarring music video for “Eazy,” in which he kidnapped and buried Davidson alive.
Sources have told Page Six that the turmoil only brought Kardashian and Davidson “closer together.” They have been dating since October 2021.
Kardashian officially filed for divorce in February 2021, and was declared legally single by a California judge on Wednesday.
