“You were just here this morning.”
Kanye West reignited the contention between his and Kim Kardashian‘s coparenting of their four children earlier today when he implied he isn’t “allowed” to see them.
In an Instagram post depicting pins of Kim, Ye, and a green cartoon alien on North’s backpack, the rapper cryptically wrote that it’s the reason he goes “so hard” for his family.
“This was on my daughter’s backpack when I was ‘allowed’ to see her last week,” he said. “This is why I go so hard for my family. I am wired to protect my family at all cost. As the priest of my home. Don’t worry Northy, God is still alive.”
In a comment captured by @commentsbycelebs, Kim responded, “Please stop with this narrative, you were just here this morning picking up the kids for school.”
The allegations from Ye come after months of accusations from Kim that he has an “obsession with trying to control and manipulate our situation” to the detriment of everyone involved.
For his part, the Donda 2 artist has maintained that Kim has been “trying to antagonize him” by “playing games” with North, who has a TikTok account that is managed by Kim, much to his chagrin.
The renewed custody issues also come amid conversations about Ye’s “misogynistic and controlling” parenting style. Over the weekend, he criticized Kim and North’s since-deleted TikTok singing along to Machine Gun Kelly and Willow Smith‘s collaboration “Emo Girl.”
Previously, he was under fire for saying his youngest daughter, Chicago, looked “too grown” in selfies shared by Khloé Kardashian that appeared to have been filtered.
Finally, Ye’s post comes after an alleged text message exchange between him and Kim’s beau Pete Davidson, where the Saturday Night Live star pleaded with him to “handle these matters privately.” He wrote, “What you are doing to your family is dangerous and going to scar them for life.”
