Kate Hudson has natural good looks but decided to try a new image on for size while playing around on social media on Friday.
The 41-year-old actress shared a video with an extreme face-altering filter that gave her dramatically enhanced lips and a very different bone structure.
Kate was filmed with no knowledge of the filter on her face at the time, before posting it to her Instagram to poke fun at her shocking transformation.

She looked fresh from a workout with slicked back blonde tresses but all eyes were on her extreme look.
Kate was instructed to remove her hands from her face and talk to the camera, at which point she remarked, ‘Hey I’m just trying to figure out what you’re doing.’
Despite being the butt of the joke, she took the power back into her own hands as she posted it to her Instagram with the caption ‘Just let me live guys! Let me LIVE! #nofilter.’

Commentary: Hudson’s video seemed to be a social commentary on the use of extreme filters and many celebrities’ predilection for FaceTune – often overusing them in blatant ways
The post garnered comments from many celebrity friends including Andy Cohen who wrote: ‘I’ve seen this movie and hate how it ends.
Her son Ryder seemed to blurt out in laughter as he posted a long string of ‘haha’s’ and another fan made a reference to her hit rom-com How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days,’ writing ‘How to lose a guy in one filter.’ She was quick to commend his joke.

Though her natural face looking nothing of the sorts, she has previously fielded plastic surgery rumors in the past after reportedly getting a nose job and breast implants in 2010.
She hit back at the rumors to InStyle in 2014: ‘That’s like asking someone if they see a therapist–and why? If someone wants to go get butt implants, then sure, go get butt implants. The real question is, How do they treat the person next to them? Are they a**holes or are they awesome?’
Additionally she said she would be open to getting botox that same year. ‘Why not? Right now, it’s not something I feel I need but I think it’s great that it’s available…I think there’s nothing wrong with a little ‘Boty’ call if you feel you want it,’ she told Hello!
