Kanye West is going to be keeping up with the Davidson.
The Yeezy fashion designer not only followed Pete Davidson’s new Instagram but posted a screenshot of the “Saturday Night Live” comic’s account Wednesday night and captioned it, “FOLLOWED.” Like most of his posts, West deleted the screenshot shortly thereafter.
Unsurprisingly, Davidson did not reciprocate the follow and instead is following only his girlfriend, Kim Kardashian, and actor Sebastian Stan.
(Not even his bestie John Mulaney?!)
The “King of Staten Island” actor, 28, picked a wild time to rejoin the social medium, as the “Flashing Lights” rapper, 44, has been threatening and insulting him on the platform over his relationship with the Skims founder, 41.
Davidson hasn’t been on Instagram since he first ditched it in the summer of 2018 over mental health concerns.
“No there’s nothing wrong. No nothing happened. No there’s nothing cryptic about anything,” he shared at the time. “I just don’t wanna be on Instagram anymore. Or on any social media platform.”
The “Big Time Adolescence” star, who has documented his struggle with borderline personality disorder, called the internet an “evil place” that doesn’t make him “feel good.”
“Why should I spend any time on negative energy when my real life is f–king lit. The fact that I even have to say this proves my point,” he continued. “I love you all and I’m sure I’ll be back at some point. 🙂 your neighborhood goon, Pete.”
He briefly joined again in December 2018 but left after leaving a terrifying note to his fans that left them wondering if he was suicidal.
“I really don’t want to be on this earth anymore,” he wrote at the time. “I’m doing my best to stay here for you but I actually don’t know how much longer i can last. all I’ve ever tried to do was help people. just remember I told you so.”
In an ironic twist, the post came after Davidson commended West for his “bravery” in discussing his mental health issues at the time.
The comedian started dating Kardashian last fall after she filed for divorce from Ye in February 2021.
