The brothers had the means and motive to carry out an actual attack on Smollett, Uche said, alleging that Olabinjo was homophobic and Abimbola, whom Smollett said he had sexual encounters with, may have been a self-hating gay man. And they might have wanted to be hired as Smollett’s security, Uche said.
