And John Travolta could not contain his joy as he shared a photo of his daughter Ella, 21, starring in the live-action imagining of Alice In Wonderland, Get Lost.
‘Here’s my daughter Ella starring in a live action re-imagining of Alice in Wonderland! Called, “Get Lost” I’m a very proud dad!’ John gushed in the photo, posted Thursday.

In the photo, Ella was dressed in a dress that was slightly reminiscent of Alice blue frock.
Being a live-action version of the classic tale, however, Ella’s dress was given an artistic twist.
The dress featured frayed blue fabric, a tulle bow, and a coordinating blouse.
On her Instagram account, Ella updated fans on her new film.

Wearing her whimsical blue dress, Ella told the camera: ‘Hi everyone I am here in beautiful Budapest, Hungary, filming the modern day reimagining of Alice In Wonderland called Get Lost.
‘I am so excited to be here, amazing cast, amazing crew, I can’t wait to share it with you guys and I’ll keep you posted.’
Starring James Cromwell, Henriette Confurius, and Abby Corrigan, Get Lost follows Alicia/Alice as she explores Budapest-turned-Wonderland with the mysterious William/Mad Hatter.
The original novel’s iconic creatures such as The Cheshire Cat and White Rabbit are transformed into human characters, as they take her on an enlightening journey in the Hungarian capital to expand her mind.
Modern twist: The new film follows the adventures of Alicia/Alice as she explores Budapest-turned-Wonderland
Doting dad: Travolta is the father of Ella and her 10-year-old brother Benjamin
Michael Mendelsohn from Patriot Pictures and Lynn Kressel are on-board, producing the new feature film.
Meanwhile Natalie Perrotta serves as executive producer and Valerie McCaffrey takes on the role of Casting Director.
Daniela Amavia is at the helm of the reimagined Alice In Wonderland film as director and writer, having made her directorial debut in 2014 with the film, A Beautiful Now.
Production commences this summer in Budapest with Mendelsohn’s Union Patriot Capital Management financing the film.
Get Lost will not be Ella’s first time appearing on the big screen.

The star – who is represented by Artists First Randi Michel and ICM Partners’ Steve Alexander -has also appeared in Old Dogs and The Poison Rose, both of which star her father.
The new role comes after John shared the trailer for Off The Rails, the final movie his late wife Kelly Preston starred in before her death last year at age 57 from breast cancer.
‘Off the Rails is Kelly’s last film- she was very proud of it and of all of the wonderful talent that she got to work with in it,’ John wrote when sharing the trailer on Instagram.
In an interview for the May issue of Esquire Spain, The Saturday Night Fever and Grease star spoke about his experiences of grief and loss.
‘I have learned that mourning someone, mourning, is personal,’ he shared. ‘Mourning is individual and experiencing your own journey is what can lead to healing.’

He explained: ‘The most important thing you can do to help another when they are in mourning is to allow them to live it and not complicate it with yours. That’s my experience.’
Travolta added: ‘Life is movement and a journey; what you leave behind in people, I guess that’s your legacy.’
As for his role as dad to Ella and Benjamin, the actor shared: ‘I will ensure the future of my children, help them with what they want to do with their lives.
‘It is what I do with Ella now with her films and teaching her to work in the profession,’ he said. ‘Ben is barely ten-years-old. I want to help him evolve because he has his whole life ahead of him.’
John and Kelly married in 1991 and shared three children together: Ella, Benjamin, 10, and Jett, who died in 2009 at age 16.
