- August Alsina claimed Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith have an open relationship and that he had a relationship with her during her marriage.
- Jada’s rep denied August’s claims that they dated and Will gave them his “blessing.”
Okay, the next episode of Red Table Talk is about to be so freaking good because there is some major drama brewing over in the Pinkett Smith and Alsina households.
According to a new Angela Yee interview with singer August Alsina, he and Jada Pinkett Smith dated while she was still married to Will Smith. August claimed he was madly in love and her and Will’s marriage is an open one, but Jada just denied everything.
Talking to Angela, August discussed his 2009 “Nunya” song and alleged, “I actually sat down with Will and had a conversation due to the transformation from their marriage to life partnership that they’ve spoken on several times and it not involving romanticism.” August went on to say that Will gave them his “blessing,” so he then “totally gave myself to that relationship for years of my life and I truly and really, really deeply loved and have a ton of love for her.”
August claimed that he avoided speaking about their alleged relationship before but felt the need to clarify his stance because he “lost money, friendships, relationships” because of the supposed arrangement.

After this interview went viral, Page Six got in touch with Jada’s people, who said August’s claims are “absolutely not true!!” Neither Will nor his reps have commented on the situation.
Any other details are unclear, but August said,”I love those people literally like my family. I don’t have a bad thing to say about them. They are beautiful people.”
Very interesting!
