The health department at 10 a.m. reported 329,304 total positive cases, 302,160 total recoveries and 5,237 total deaths since the start of the pandemic. The health department reports 1,514,922 Iowans have been tested for COVID-19, while 3,844,755 tests have been administered. Only Adair County reports a 14-day average higher than 15%. That county now reports a 24.4% rate. No other county reports an average higher than 13.4%.COVID-19 hospitalizations were up slightly overnight. There are now 242 individuals hospitalized with the virus, up from 240 a day earlier. There are 57 patients in ICU and 28 patients on ventilators.Thirty-five of Iowa’s long-term care facilities report virus outbreaks. The state reports 948 positive cases and 630 recoveries among residents and staff within those facilities.
