Heidi Klum showcased three generations of her family’s beauty on her Instagram with a new selfie with her mom Erna and 16-year-old Leni Klum on Sunday.
In a behind-the-scenes shot from the set of Vogue Germany, the 47-year-old TV host stood between her lookalike loved ones with a beaming smile across her face.
Looking like the spit of her mom, the budding model gazed at the camera in a black minidress as her grandmother rocked a patterned scarf and chic jacket.

‘I’m so proud of you. And not because you chose this path. I know that no matter which way you go, it will be your own,’ she wrote in German on social media.
The Project Runway alum continued: ‘You always know exactly what you want and what you don’t want. You are not a mini-me. And I’m happy for you that you can now show who YOU are.’
Leni rocked bright pink trousers and a royal blue blazer to match her mother’s color-blocked combination.

‘I know that being my daughter is not always easy. You never had the opportunity to grow up “normally.” But what is normal? Growing up with three different daddies probably wasn’t either,’ she added.
Leni’s biological father is businessman Flavio Briatore, but she was adopted by Heidi’s second husband, Seal, when the couple were married. Klum remarried nearly two years ago to Tokio Hotel musician Tom Kaulitz, 31.
‘But you have the talent to get the best out of everything. And I would say: none of it harmed you – on the contrary: you are a self-confident young woman who fights for her goals,’ she said. ‘And even more important: you are a really great person with your heart in the right place.’
‘I hope that no matter where you are, you always carry what I have given you over the past 16 years. For the big decisions in life, but also for the very little ones,’ Heidi wrote

‘And even if you often don’t want to hear your mom’s clever advice, here’s another one: never do something you don’t want to do and always listen to your gut instinct.
‘I am sure that an exciting time is waiting for you. Vogue is the best way to start the career you dream of. And even if it is a little difficult for me to let go of you into this world, I will always do everything so that you are happy and that your dreams come true. I am proud to be your mom!’

Despite turning down plenty of modeling opportunities over the years to protect her daughter’s privacy, the mother-of-four believes Leni is ‘old enough now.’
‘I always thought she was too young. We always also decided to keep the children out of the public eye,’ the former Victoria’s Secret Angel, 47, told People.

The wife of Tom Kaulitz also revealed she often brings her teenager on different TV sets to look and learn.
‘I think it’s very interesting to her,’ the American’s Got Talent judge noted. ‘When you’re that age you’re still trying to figure out who you are, what you want to be and kind of see for the first time what are all these different jobs to make a TV show happen.’
After revealing her lookalike ‘does want to do what’ Klum does, she reflected on the possibilities, including passing down her hosting duties on Germany’s Next Top Model.
‘Who knows, maybe in five years when I’m not hosting the show anymore maybe it’s going to be like Germany’s Next Top Model by Leni Klum instead of Heidi Klum,’ the mother-of-four gushed
‘Who knows, maybe in five years when I’m not hosting the show anymore maybe it’s going to be like Germany’s Next Top Model by Leni Klum instead of Heidi Klum,’ she remarked, after 14 years on the America’s Next Top Model spin-off.
As for Leni, Klum revealed ‘she’s kind of playing with this idea.’
While Klum is very supportive, after starting her own modeling career at 18, she has never sugarcoated the harsh realities of the industry.
Comfortable behind the camera: Additionally, she shared more pictures of herself modeling for Derek Kettela and enjoying nature for her 202,000 followers
‘You have to be a strong person, especially as a woman you have to be very strong,’ she stressed, after pointing out the travel demands.
And, at times, the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover girl admitted she struggles to balance her online presence and pleasing her family.
Klum is also a mother to Henry, 15, Johan, 14, and 11-year-old Lou, who often vocalize their disapproval with her more risqué posts on social media.
