Kitchen and wait staff at the Porthole Restaurant and Pub served breakfast to a surprise celebrity guest Saturday morning: renowned chef and TV personality Gordon Ramsay. According to Joshua Chastain who works at the restaurant, Ramsay ordered the Casco bay Omelet, which is served with lobster, crab, goat cheese and hollandaise sauce. Ramsay reportedly found it “delicious.” A post on the restaurant’s Facebook reads: “Working through a pandemic is worth it when Gordon Ramsay comes for breakfast! Thank you so much for lifting our staffs (sic) spirits and being beyond kind!” This is the second time Ramsay has been spotted in Maine recently. Last week, Big Cat’s Catering shared that they had served the superstar chef.
