Ewan McGregor’s daughter Clara was bitten in the face by a dog, requiring a trip to the emergency room prior to a film premiere at The Mob Museum in Las Vegas on Friday.
The actress/producer, 25, took to social media Sunday with a shot of herself on the red carpet at the premiere of the movie The Birthday Cake, sporting injuries on her nose and under her eye.
She captioned the shot: ‘When a dog bite lands you in the ER 30 mins before the red carpet … thank you @themobmuseum for having us, @thebirthdaycakemovie comes out in theaters and on VOD June 18th!’

Despite the violent incident earlier in the day, the second-generation star looked calm and collected at the screening, where she wore a khaki three piece suit by Fendi.
She posed for photos at the event with her younger sister Esther; and the film’s director Jimmy Giannopoulos, and actors Joe D’Onofrio and Tyler Dean Flores.
On her Instagram Stories, she maintained her sense of humor and added ‘make-up courtesy of dog teeth.’
She also shared a shot from a hospital as she smiled in a sweatshirt in the wake of the frightening incident.

Clara is a producer on her father’s latest film, which features an ensemble cast including Val Kilmer, Lorraine Bracco, William Fichtner and Luis Guzmán.
In addition to producing she also appears with her father Ewan in the movie.
The Birthday Cake features Shiloh Fernandez, 36, who also is a co-producer and co-wrote the screenplay.

The film follows young Italian man Giovanni, played by Shiloh, who reluctantly continues the family tradition of bringing a cake to his uncle to mark the 10th anniversary of his father’s passing.
Gio witnesses a murder while on his way that forces him to learn the truth behind his father’s death.
Ewan was not seen at the premiere.

The Scottish actor has been filming the Disney+ series Obi-Wan Kenobi.
He is reprising his role from the Star Wars prequel trilogy and also serves as an executive producer.
McGregor in April recalled to The Hollywood Reporter about Clara’s infancy ahead of his breakout role in the 1996 Danny Boyle film Trainspotting.
‘I had Clara in my lap as a baby doing press at Cannes for Trainspotting,’ McGregor said. ‘Ultimately, through all of that craziness and that time, I had that sort of safety line through my life, which was my work and family, that I could latch onto.’
