The Bravo universe is “not well” upon hearing the news of Dorinda Medley’s departure from the “Real Housewives of New York” on Tuesday.
Medley, 55, who joined the cast in 2015 and appeared on “RHONY” for the past six seasons, was met with warm remarks from peers on social media, including Andy Cohen and former “Real Housewife” Bethenny Frankel.
“What a ride. Unforgettable. 🙌❤,” “Watch What Happens Live” host Cohen commented.
Frankel, who exited “RHONY” last season, posted a tribute to Medley on Instagram.
“Every woman in this world wears a little sparkle, some in their dress, and some in their eyes. Use each moment to make another’s eyes sparkle and to warm a heart. Don’t let anyone or anything dull your sparkle. Don’t let the insecurities of others dull your sparkle. You will be missed…let the next chapter begin. #RHONY,” Frankel wrote Tuesday.
In addition to Frankel, “Housewives” stars Lisa Rinna, Margaret Josephs, and Tamra Judge also weighed in on Medley’s surprise announcement.
“You are a legend, forever an ICON love you @dorindamedley,” New Jersey star Josephs penned.
“True Queen,” Rinna of Beverly Hills replied.
“No! you’re gonna be missed !” Judge wrote, eight months after leaving the “Real Housewives of Orange County.”
In a statement posted Tuesday to Instagram, Medley thanked Bravo and NBC for an “incredible ride,” also offering support to her castmates despite feuding with many of them throughout the past season.
“To my cast mates for constant stimulation and entertainment. I wish you all health, happiness and success,” Medley penned.
Leah McSweeney, who made her “RHONY” debut this year, told Medley, “I’m gonna miss you 💞.”
Series veteran Ramona Singer also penned, “All the same to you 💕.”
Medley is the latest “Housewife” to leave New York, as Tinsley Mortimer left the series in June.
