Dolly Parton has launched her first fragrance Sent From Above along with a new song.
The 75-year-old country music icon announced the debut of her perfume and the release of her single with two Instagram posts on Wednesday.
‘Stream the theme to my brand new fragrance, #SentFromAbove, now!’ Dolly wrote in the caption of the first post.

She shared the cover for the new song in which she was seen posing in a glamorous long-sleeved silver sequined gown adorned with pink butterflies.
Dolly’s famous platinum waves curled around her shoulders as she gazed to the side with a slight smile.
The Here You Come Again hitmaker was posed in front of a pink background with sparkles and butterflies. She also shared the link to download her song in her bio.

The second video also featured the single’s cover with animated butterflies flashing and flying across the screen. Both videos were overlaid with a clips from her new track.
The songstress captioned the video: ‘Just like the fragrance that inspired it, #SentFromAbove transports you to a heavenly place! Stream my new song today! Link in bio!’

The Jolene singer’s fragrance can be purchased at HSN.com in a spray, rollerball and body cream. It includes notes of mandarin, peony blossoms, jasmine, vanilla, sandalwood, musk and patchouli.
In an interview with People magazine, the superstar said, ‘I wanted it to smell like heaven, kind of soft and cloud-like.
‘That’s why we call it Sent from Above!’ she continued. ‘I thought that was a real good name for it.’

Dolly went on to say that Sent From Above was ‘not one of those perfumes that when you wake up in the middle of the night — it’s too strong, it almost keeps you awake.
‘I like it to smell soft and feminine,’ she added. ‘But I like it to last too. I like it to be where it’s like, “Ooh, what is that?” I love that.
‘I like it to smell just like something you would want to wear. This one … you feel like you’re laying on a cloud. It smells good!’
The Steel Magnolias star revealed that she has never had a signature scent and said that she layers several perfumes.

She noted, ‘People used to follow me around all through the years saying, ‘What are you wearing? It smells so good.’
‘I said, ‘Well, it’s a whole lot of different things, so we’ll just call it Dolly.”’
Parton reminisced about her first memories of fragrance, referring to her Aunt Estelle’s sachet packets and her grandmother’s rose garden.
‘I used to love smelling all the different flowers in the summertime,’ she said.

However, Dolly acknowledged that her style has evolved over the course of her decades-long career.
‘I think my look has kind of softened through the years, only because I’m lucky enough to have wonderful people help me out with my clothes or with my makeup or with hair’ — but I’m still always going to be over the line.’
