South Carolina health officials reported 4,576 new cases of coronavirus Saturday.Officials said these new cases bring the total confirmed cases in the state to 320,105.Fifty-two confirmed deaths were reported, along with 12 probable deaths, bringing the state death toll to 5,267.DHEC officials said the new cases were found in 15,046 individual test results, for a percent positive of 30.4%.Greenville County led the state in new cases, with 723 new confirmed cases.Hospitalizations dropped slightly, to 2,383 people hospitalized with coronavirus.As of Saturday afternoon, the SC DHEC website reported the state had received 323,900 doses of coronavirus vaccine, and 91,689 doses had been administered.
