COVID-19 Statistics | Nov. 20, 2020 – Lost Coast Outpost

Press release from the Humboldt County Joint Information Center:

Nine months after the first case of COVID-19 was diagnosed in Humboldt County, the total number of county residents who have tested positive for the virus stands at 730, after 19 new cases were reported today.

Humboldt County Health Officer Dr. Teresa Frankovich said there is still time to slow transmission of the virus, but it will take a communitywide effort. “If we do not follow the safety guidelines that have been in place for months, especially as we head into Thanksgiving, we will see more illness in our friends and loved ones,” she said. “This is a time when we must take on the responsibility of protecting and caring for one another.”
