The Oregon Health Authority on Sunday reported no COVID-19 deaths and 499 new cases, the sixth day this week with at least 400 cases.
Average daily cases now stand at levels last seen in February. Hospitalizations from COVID-19 increased to 179, after plateauing recently.
Vaccines: Oregon reported 33,381 newly administered doses, which includes 22,729 Saturday and the remainder from previous days.
Where the new cases are by county: Baker (1), Benton (6), Clackamas (72), Clatsop (1), Columbia (9), Coos (6), Crook (3), Deschutes (35), Douglas (6), Grant (7), Jackson (22), Jefferson (8), Josephine (9), Klamath (35), Lane (46), Lincoln (7), Linn (11), Malheur (1), Marion (47), Morrow (1), Multnomah (99), Polk (11), Tillamook (2), Union (1), Wallowa (1), Washington (43) and Yamhill (9).
Hospitalizations: 179 people with confirmed cases of COVID-19 are hospitalized, down three from Wednesday. That includes 46 people in intensive care, the same number as Saturday.
Since it began: Oregon has reported 170,568 confirmed or presumed infections and 2,440 deaths, among the lowest per capita numbers in the nation. To date, the state has reported 2,258,702 vaccine doses administered.
