The comedian who went viral with his 30-second spoof of The Crown has delighted fans yet again with his hilarious impressions of Bridgerton characters.
Kieran Hodgson, from Yorkshire, imitated the stars of the new Netflix series – which is projected to be streamed by 63 million households in its first month on the streaming website – in a video which has been liked by thousands on Twitter.
The racy period drama follows Daphne Bridgerton (Phoebe Dynevor) as she looks for a husband along with other debutantes in London.
In the clip Kieran plays the part of a ‘sad and confused’ Daphne and pokes fun at her and The Duke of Hastings’s many sex scenes in different locations.
Fans applauded Kieran’s impressions saying they were ‘spot on’ and thanked him for ‘cheering people up in lockdown’.
Yorkshire comedian Kieran Hodgson has left Twitter in stitches with his humorous recap of the new Netflix period drama Bridgerton (pictured as The Duke of Hastings in one of his many topless boxing scenes)
The video starts with an introduction from Lady Whistledown who announces in her trademark posh voice: ‘The start of a new Netflix season can promise opportunity for some but scandal for others’
‘A little treat for fans of #Bridgerton. Bad TV Impressions: Bridgerton,’ the comedian wrote on Twitter.
In the video, Kieran perfectly changes his expressions to match those of the characters he is portraying, including the show’s Gossip Girl-style narrator Lady Whistledown and all of the different Bridgerton siblings.

The camera then jumps to Kieran topless pretending to do boxing – portraying The Duke of Hastings – who says: ‘I swore to my father that I would never shave properly and I would never marry a Bridgerton!’

Lady Danbury who often appears in the show in eccentric red clothing was also imitated by Kieran wearing a maroon fez hat who replies to the Duke saying: ‘My boy, you would do well to marry a Bridgerton.’
The camera then cuts to Kieran as the show’s protagonist Daphne Bridgerton who is dressed in one of her many blue gowns.
Referring to a scene in the show where her love interest The Duke suggests she finds out what she likes in the bedroom by ‘touching herself’, she says: ‘Dearest mama, I’ve never even touched myself, how am I to impress the Queen?’
The comedian then goes on to imitate one of the younger Bridgerton sisters Eloise whose feminist character spends much of the drama reading books and protesting against getting married
Later he goes on to imitate Daphne’s older brother Anthony Bridgerton (pictured) who spends most of the show trying to find a suitable husband for his sister
Other members of the cast received a mention, such as the town’s dressmaker Genevieve Delacroix who Kieran imitates with a strong French accent and by dressing up with a French flag down his top
To which Kieran as her mother replies: ‘You’ve got big eyes my child, and always look sad and confused’, before the camera cuts back to Kieran as Daphne looking wistfully into the distance.

Kieran changes into another dress to play her part saying: ‘Why must a woman always impress with her big eyes, why not with a big book she has written!’

Styling his hair into Anthony’s floppy style with sideburns, he says to The Duke: ‘Hastings if you besmirch my sister’s honour I will unleash upon you more Bridgertons than you ever thought possible.’
Elsewhere in the spoof Kieran plays the part of the other Bridgerton brothers, including ‘A nice Gap year Bridgerton’ Colin and ‘A painting Bridgerton’ who is the middle sibling Benedict.
Other members of the cast received a mention, such as the town’s dressmaker Genevieve Delacroix whom Kieran imitates with a strong French accent and by dressing up with a French flag down his top.
As the spoof comes to an end Kieran also makes a mention of the Duke and Daphne’s many sex scenes throughout the show, acting out their racy encounters ‘on the patio, up a ladder and at the pig contest’.
Fans of the show and of Kieran were quick to comment with one saying: ‘I needed that laugh. You aced that! Costumes brilliant! Pure talent’.
Another wrote: ‘Omg. This is absolutely spot on and hilarious. You are a treasure’.
A third added: ‘Everything I’ve ever wanted. Quite, quite brilliant’.
