Christine Quinn endured an emergency C-section when she gave birth to her son Christian back in May, and has exclusively revealed to MailOnline the traumatic experience has made her more vulnerable in the upcoming series of Selling Sunset

Usually known for being a self-proclaimed ‘boss b****’, the 32-year-old noted her change in the much anticipated season four of the Netflix show saying: ‘I don’t care about [their] problems and not being invited to parties, that’s the least of my issues.’

Christine, who has launched a new line with London-based beauty brand Ciate,  spoke about how she knew she was in labour before her doctor did and that both her and her baby almost died during birth.

‘My body knew I was in labour and my doctor said no, sure enough my water broke and I was in a very traumatic position where I walked into the hospital and I was 10cm dilated,’ Christine recalled.

The reality star opted for the emergency C-section without an epidural, and gave birth 22 minutes later.

Despite her dramatic birthing story, Christine seems to have settled into motherhood and said that she wants to spend all her time with her son- a far cry from the glamorous Hollywood parties she frequented on the hit Netflix show.

‘Motherhood has been amazing – I hate leaving him – I want to be with my baby all the time, he’s in that phase where he’s sleeping and eating a lot,’ she said.

And Christine’s relationship with retired tech entrepreneur Christian Richard is stronger than ever, with the star speaking of how they have navigated parenthood and the sleepless nights.

‘We are both night owls, the time that we spend together is usually when our son goes to bed.’

Christine wrapped filming on season four of the hit property show back in July, and is already filming for season five.

She revealed what is to come in the much anticipated new series: ‘The dynamic has changed because it’s not so small and not as tight knit and there are a lot of different characters.

‘We’re bringing new characters into the mix – it’s a big big family now it’s going to be different and I really love two new girls.’

Changes: Even though she has shown off her real estate credentials in the series, her real passion is beauty and fashion- which is why she has recently brought out a new line with Ciate

This is her first venture into ‘pursuing her passions’ and Christine explained another project in the works is her book called How To Be A Boss B****, where she will endeavour to give advice on becoming more of a confident woman.

‘The book is not about me. It gives tips and tricks, and quizzes to hold people accountable. It helps you gain confidence and talk to people,’ she said.
