Chris Evans showcases his muscular physique and tattoo collection as he backflips into swimming pool – Daily Mail

He nearly broke the internet last month after he accidentally posted an X-rated full body snapshot on his Instagram Story. 

And Chris Evans gave his 6.6million followers something else to marvel over by gracing the platform shirtless on Tuesday. 

In a brief clip, the 39-year-old Captain America star showcased his impressively muscular physique and extensive tattoo collection before backflipping into his pool.

‘Last swim before the pool hibernates…’ wrote Evans, who also noted that the water ‘was freezing.’

Before performing his flip, Chris stood at the pool’s edge with his back to the water.

Donning a pair of black swim trunks, he briefly shook off his nerves and then placed his hands in a diving position.

He then lowered his arms and quickly threw them back up in order to properly launch himself into the air and towards the water.

Evans then tucked his legs and crashed in the water in the form of a perfect cannonball. 

While underwater, the Avengers actor’s beloved pup began barking and circling the pool.

Chris then came up for air and let out a boisterous ‘F**k!’ due to the pool’s extremely cold temperature.

Though Tuesday’s post was rather wholesome in nature, Chris recently performed the ultimate flub by accidentally sharing a nude photo with his Instagram following on September 12.

It came after the Avengers: Endgame star shared a short video to his Instagram Stories of himself and some friends playing Heads Up.

At the end of the video, a shot of the actor’s phone camera roll came up, which featured the nude image. The entire clip has since been deleted.

The picture didn’t leave anything to the imagination, but it was cropped too closely to have any identifying features.  

Following the incident, Evans appeared on the Tamron Hall Show where host Tamron Hall grilled about the nude image leak.

Chris squirmed as Tamron asked him what happened, raising his eyebrows and trying to smile through the awkwardness of the interview.

He admitted to Hall that it was ’embarrassing’ to have the image made public, but that it did provide him with a few ‘teachable moments.’ 

Many of his fans came to his defense on Twitter, asking people not to re-post the nude image and pointing out that they did not have his consent to re-share the private image on the internet, especially since he had deleted it, himself.

In terms of consensual content, Evans took a trip down memory lane on Monday as he showed off a snapshot of himself from his teenage years.

‘Wow. High school starter kit complete with beaded necklace and hat with sports tape,’ captioned Knives Out actor.

The black-and-white photo showed Chris rocking backwards cap, a white tee, and two beaded necklaces.
