Travis Scott's deadly Astroworld Festival concert claimed the lives of ten people on November 5, 2021, after they died from accidental compressive asphyxiation due to a crowd crush.  The event was held at NRG Park in Houston, Texas and was the first night of the annual festival founded by Scott in 2018.  Eight people passed away on the night of the concert, and two more died in the hospital over the following days. Twenty-five people were hospitalized, and more than 300 people were treated for injuries at the festival's field hospital. A man was sentenced Monday to 17.5 years in prison and five years of supervised released in Los Angeles federal court in connection to the 2018 overdose death of 26-year-old rapper Mac Miller. Stephen Andrew Walter, 48 and of Westwood, California, is now the second drug dealer to be sentenced to more than a decade behind bars over Miller’s death.  Ryan Michael Reavis, 39, was sentenced in April to nearly 11 years in prison after previously pleading guilty to a single count of distribution of fentanyl. Red Hot Chili Peppers‘ Chad Smith and Pearl Jam‘s Matt Cameron have apologised for comments they made in a recent Rolling Stone article about the time leading up to the death of Foo Fighters‘ Taylor Hawkins, distancing themselves from the piece. The Rolling Stone story, citing Hawkins’ friends – including Smith and Cameron – asserts that Hawkins had grown increasingly uncomfortable with the band’s touring schedule. Hulk has long been pushed aside in the MCU as the green Avenger hasn't starred in a solo outing since 2008's The Incredible Hulk - in which he was played by Edward Norton. Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith and Pearl Jam and Soundgarden sticksman Matt Cameron have both put distance between themselves and an article in Rolling Stone about late Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins.  In the article, both Cameron and Smith are quoted as saying that Foo Fighters' touring schedule had been detrimental to Hawkins' health. Cameron claimed that Hawkins had spoken to Foo Fighters leader Dave Grohl about the pressure he felt, but that the band's schedule "got even crazier after that.” Smith, meanwhile, referred to an incident when Hawkins had apparently lost consciousness aboard a plane in Chicago last December, leading to the cancellation of a show at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi.
