Doctor Strange at one time may have seemed like one of the least likely Marvel properties to become a yet. Yet become a hit it did, and now people are looking forward to the sequel, due out in 2022.  However, since 2022 seems like a long way off, especially amid the ongoing pandemic, fans are going back and rewatching the MCU movies, most of which are on Disney+. “Hamilton” fans rejoiced as Lin-Manuel Miranda’s musical was finally released on Disney Plus on Friday, giving people the long holiday weekend to watch the groundbreaking performance. Originally released in 2015 on Broadway, the hip-hop infused musical about founding father Alexander Hamilton became an instant smash hit. Most people had to pay hundreds or thousands of dollars to get seats at the frequently sold-out shows, but now anybody with a Disney Plus subscription can enjoy it from their own home. A Canadian sports personality’s social media post Thursday indicating his 1-month-old baby had been “taken” from him was inaccurate as no abduction had taken place, a Durham (Ontario, Canada) Regional Police source said Saturday. TSN broadcaster Dan O’Toole wrote in a since-deleted post Thursday that his newborn daughter Oakland had gone missing, which the source said prompted an immediate investigation. The baby was found hours later with her biological mother, the police said in a tweet that was also taken down. LONDON — Johnny Depp’s lawyers have failed to stop the American actor’s ex-wife, Amber Heard, from attending his libel trial against the British tabloid newspaper The Sun until she is called to give evidence. In a court order published on Saturday, trial judge Andrew Nicol said that excluding Heard from the London courtroom before she testifies in the case “would inhibit the defendants in the conduct of their defense.” Depp, 57, is suing The Sun’s publisher, News Group Newspapers, and Executive Editor Dan Wootton over a 2018 article claiming the actor was violent and abusive to Heard.
