A year and a half after The New York Times published a harrowing report detailing allegations that singer/songwriter Ryan Adams manipulated and harassed the aspiring female artists he championed, Adams has issued an apology.  In an essay published Friday in U.K.'s The Daily Mail and verified to USA TODAY by Adams' attorney Andrew Brettler, Adams wrote that there were "no words to express how bad I feel about the ways I've mistreated people throughout my life and career."  Seven women – including Adams' ex-wife Mandy Moore and singer/songwriter Phoebe Bridgers – accused Adams of championing rising female artists and then exploiting them and stifling their ambitions, often for his own sexual gain. Thinking of canceling your vacation because you weren’t able to book a theme park reservation? It seems that Walt Disney World has added additional slots on days that were previously full for Walt Disney World Resort Guests, so that more Guests will be able to visit the parks! Looking at the availability calendar for Disney Resort Guests in July, dates that were previously full were July 15th, 17th, and 18th. Each of those dates is now showing availability for every theme park. Of course, July 15th is a big day as all Walt Disney World Resort theme parks will officially reopen to the public. Earl Cameron, who was one of the first Black actors to perform in mainstream British films and played supporting roles to enduring entertainment icons such as James Bond and the title character in "Doctor Who" before appearing in the U.N. thriller "The Interpreter" in his 80s, has died. He was 102. Cameron died Friday, according to The Royal Gazette, a newspaper in his native Bermuda. The British newspaper The Guardian, quoting the actor's agent, said he died at home in Warwickshire, England. On Saturday night (July 4), NBC celebrated America's 244th birthday with its annual Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular. Hosted by Today anchor Craig Melvin and meteorologist Dylan Dreyer, the special featured socially-distanced performances by everyone from Black Eyed Peas and John Legend to The Killers, Lady A and Brad Paisley at venues throughout the country.
