David Gordon Green’s Halloween Kills, which is in post, moves from Oct. 16 to Friday, Oct. 15, 2021 which is where Universal originally had Halloween Ends. That sequel now moves from that 2021 date to Oct. 14, 2022, which Uni had reserved for an untitled Blumhouse movie. Today, EA announced a new series called The Sims Spark’d, which follows a fairly traditional reality format: contestants are given a particular goal, and a panel of three experts will judge their creations, with $100,000 in prize money on the line. Disney has had to shuffle around its theatrical release slate on more than one occasion this year, accounting for the closing of movie theaters due to the coronavirus pandemic. Many titles got moved back to later in the year, while others were given a direct-to-consumer release on Disney+.
