Country band Lady A, previously Lady Antebellum, files lawsuit against blues singer with the same name – Fox News

Country band Lady A has filed a lawsuit over trademark rights against a blues singer who uses the same name. In June, the band -- previously known as Lady Antebellum -- changed their name "after much personal reflection" and conversations with "closest Black friends" because the word "Antebellum" refers to a period of time "which includes slavery," they said. A blues singer from Seattle, Wash., however, had already been using the name for more than two decades. Blake Shelton announces drive-in movie concert event, includes Northeast Ohio locations – WJW FOX 8 News Cleveland

(CNN/WJW) — Following in the footsteps of Garth Brooks, Blake Shelton is bringing his music to fans through the power of the silver screen. The country superstar announced Wednesday that he has a drive-in concert debuting July 25 at more than 300 locations across the country. Pinecrest kicks off drive-in movie nights in its parking lot  That includes 17 Ohio drive-ins, including Elm Road Triple Drive-In Theatre in Warren and Mayfield Road Drive-In in Chardon.
