“Two and a Half Men” star Conchata Ferrell is currently ill and on a respirator after suffering a heart attack. Ferrell, 77, who is best known for playing the housekeeper Berta on the CBS sitcom opposite Charlie Sheen, was recently moved to a long-term care facility after spending four weeks in the ICU, her husband, Arnie Anderson, told TMZ. Joanna Cole, author of the beloved book series The Magic School Bus and other children's books, has died at 75. Publishing company Scholastic announced Cole's death in a statement Wednesday. She died on Sunday of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, AP reported. Cole created the Magic School Bus series in 1986 with illustrator Bruce Degen, after the publisher's senior editorial director Craig Walker kept getting requests from teachers for children's books about science, according to AP.
