With Downtown Disney District opening to the public on July 9th, there has been much to follow. Today, we made our way back to take see if things have settled at the Disneyland Resort. Join us in taking a look at the temperature screenings, virtual queues, parking lines, views from the Esplanade, and more. Downtown Disney Parking Today, we got to Disneyland Resort around 5:00 pm. All parking was directed to the Simba Parking lot. Cars sat stalled for a moment as capacity was very high already. This has been a problem since opening a few days ago. Parking was complimentary. The rumors are true. Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows have signed with Impact Wrestling and will appear at the Slammiversary PPV Saturday night (July 18). The duo announced the news themselves when their non-compete clause with WWE expired. No doubt they will have their sights set on tag team gold. The North (Ethan Page & Josh Alexander) have been Impact champs for over a year. They will defend against Ken Shamrock and Sami Callihan at Slammiversary. Check off two names on Impact’s surprise list. The big question is if Anderson and Gallows will be alone when they arrive. Impact has also been teasing EC3, Eric Young, Aces & Eights, Heath Slater, and others. Slammiversary airs Saturday night at 8 pm ET on PPV and Fite.TV.

NEW YORK (AP) — Phyllis Somerville, an actor with a lengthy career of roles in film, television and Broadway productions, has died. She was 76. Somerville's manager Paul Hilepo says the actor died Thursday in New York City of natural causes.  A native of Iowa, Somerville moved to New York in the 1970s. She most recently appeared onstage in the Broadway production of "To Kill a Mockingbird." "She took pride in calling herself a New Yorker but she had salt of the Earth mid-western roots which she was also proud of," Hilepo said in an email. Fortnite’s newest in-game emote is a collaborative one. Epic Games this evening announced the launch of “The Renegade,” the viral TikTok dance created by Atlanta teenager Jalaiah Harmon. The Twitter account for Fortnite openly cites Harmon, writing, “Go, go, go, go, let’s go and bust out some [fire] moves by @jalaiah.” It’s not clear whether Epic and Harmon struck some type of licensing deal, but it’s a possibility considering the developer’s rocky legal history with dance emotes. Throughout Fortnite’s meteoric rise starting in the fall of 2017, the game has featured a number of real-world dances copied from pop culture. Robert Downey Jr. has joined some of his fellow Avengers to pay tribute to 6-year old real-life hero Bridger Walker. The child has been in the news quite a bit lately after he saved his 4-year old sister from a dog attack. He jumped in front of her as the dog latched on to his face, which resulted in 90 stitches, a black, eye, and a lot of pain. His aunt, Nikki Walker took some time to share Bridger's story with the world and tagged some of the biggest superheroes on the planet, hoping to get just one response. However, Bridger Walker's heroism has seen not just one, but multiple superheroes reach out to pay tribute.
