Anna Delvey was back on the Manhattan art scene Thursday night — virtually — as the fake heiress remains in federal custody fighting an effort to deport her to Germany. Delvey, whose real name is Anna Sorokin, addressed her patrons on video during her one-night-only art exhibit at the Public Hotel in Nolita, according to the Sun. The exhibition, entitled “Allegedly,” showcases the art she made while being detained by US Customs and Immigration Enforcement. The Defender who first headlined Netflix’s partnership with Marvel is coming back in a new Disney Plus series. Variety reports that Matt Corman (The Brave, Deck the Halls) and Chris Ord (The Enemy Within) have signed on to write a new Daredevil series that could delve into what Matt Murdock was up to in the time after Netflix’s Daredevil show came to an end in 2018. The news comes in the wake of Charlie Cox reprising his role as Daredevil in Spider-Man: No Way Home and all of Netflix’s Marvel shows migrating over to Disney Plus earlier this year. While there’s currently no word on whether this new series will directly address the events of the Netflix series, it stands to reason that it would given Vincent D’Onofrio’s reprisal of his Kingpin role for Disney Plus’ Hawkeye. Music producer Bruce Witkin testified Thursday that his former best friend Johnny Depp has a “jealous streak” — and was at one time envious of Nicolas Cage. Witkin, owner of the label Unison Music, said in a recorded deposition that he considered Depp — whom he’s known for more than 40 years — his best friend and “brother” until the two had a falling out four years ago over an unrelated legal matter. “He can definitely have a jealous streak in him,” Witkin said of Depp in the Feb. 17, 2022, deposition, which was played for the jury in Fairfax County Circuit Court in Virginia.
