2 Syracuse bar patrons test positive for coronavirus after drinking without masks, county warns – syracuse.com

Syracuse, N.Y. -- Two people who were at Tommy’s Park in Syracuse late Friday night without masks have now tested positive for the coronavirus, according to the Onondaga County Health Department. The customers were at the bar at 901 Butternut St. on Friday, July 10, from 11 p.m. to close, which was around midnight, the department said. Anyone who was at the bar during that time period may have been exposed, according to the health department. Those people should monitor for symptoms for 14 days. The server was wearing a mask and the establishment has been limiting capacity to under 50% and following federal cleaning guidelines, according to the county. CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (KTRK) -- An infant has died due to coronavirus in Corpus Christi, the Corpus Christi-Nueces County Public Health District reports. The baby boy was six weeks old. "Our deepest condolences go out to his parents and family," the Nueces County Public Health District said in a statement. District director Annette Rodriguez said the child had a co-infection and his death was identified as sudden infant death syndrome, also known as SIDS, the Corpus Christi Caller-Times reported.
