Say it with me now: Carrie-Anne Moss understood the hell out of the assignment!
At the film’s world premiere in San Francisco last night, Carrie-Anne stunned in a custom pleated silk chiffon Oscar de la Renta gown and cape that paid homage to the sci-fi franchise’s digital rain computer code.

I mean, do you SEE this?! That’s an icon, your honor.

But that’s not all — if you look closer at the fabric of the dress, the green stitching actually spells out “Oscar de la Renta” over and over again.

“Bespoke ‘Oscar de la Renta’ embroidery, crafted from a sequence of threadwork with green and silver sequins, echoes the series’ digital rain,” the lux brand’s Instagram post read. The only thing that — maybe, possibly — would have made it better is if they had just stitched a bunch of sushi recipes in there.
The actor also paired the look with matching custom-made green triangular earrings from Lillian Shalom.

Carrie-Anne’s stylist — Sydney Lopez — took to Instagram to thank her, as well as the creative team and fellow designers who helped put everything together. “And lastly, Carrie-Anne, thank you for letting me be a part of this moment for you. I still am in shock I got this honor. Trinity!!!! 🖤🤯.”
Ugh, as if Carrie-Anne (and by extension, Trinity) wasn’t already the coolest.
