Billy Porter was nothing short of extravagant when he hit the red carpet for the Cinderella premiere in Los Angeles in a high-waisted black and white dress and a wing-like couture bow jutting out of the back.
The acclaimed theater actor, 51, plays Cinderella’s fairy godmother in the romantic musical comedy film that stars Camila Cabello as Cinderella, in what is her acting debut.

The unique ensemble featured a very long train and platform boots that accentuated the Broadway actor’s lean and statuesque frame.
He accessorized with an array of rings, bracelets and necklace, and his raven tresses cropped into a spiky style.
At one point, Porter took a brief break for all the posing, moved to front of the red carpet area, in order to conduct some interviews with entertainment journalists.

While on the red carpet, Porter shared the spotlight with the likes of Camila Cabello (Cinderella), who stars in the titular role in her acting debut, Idina Menzel (Vivian, Cinderella’s stepmother), James Corden (James, a Footman/mouse) and writer and director Director Kay Cannon.
This latest film adaption is based on the classic fairy tale by Charles Perrault.
The cast also includes the likes of Nicholas Galitzine (Prince Robert), Minnie Driver (Queen Beatrice), Pierce Brosnan (King Rowan), Maddie Baillio and Charlotte Spencer (the stepsisters), James Acaster (John, a Footman/mouse).

The cast was rounded out with Romesh Ranganathan (Romesh, a Footman/mouse), Missy Elliott (Town Crier), Tallulah Greive (Princess Gwen), Luke Latchman (Griff), Fra Fee (Hench), Mary Higgins (Princess Laura), and Nakai Warikandwa (Princess).
Previously, Cabello and Menzel both confirmed they were working on original music for the film, to go along with some previously released hit songs that will be sung by various castmembers.
The new movie musical, Cinderella, will be premiering on Amazon Prime Video on September 3.
