Billie Eilish announces tour stop in Sacramento at Golden 1 Center

“…I’m happier than ever…” She warned us that new music was on the way, but it seems Billie Eilish is really gearing up to drop something big, and VERY soon, after teasing a ‘new week’ ahead.  It might be Monday, but Billie Eilish fans are ‘happier than ever’ after her latest Instagram post that might actually tease a new single coincidentally called ‘Happier Than Ever.’ Earlier this morning, Billie posted this teaser to her Instagram page featuring stripped down vocals to the new track, and judging off the lyrics alone, we’re not exactly sure if this is gearing up to be a song about romance or a ballad about breaking free. Check it out: “When I’m away from you, I’m happier than ever…” Guys… I know we’ve been saying this for weeks now, but the new era of Billie is OFFICIALLY upon us!!!  Just last week, she teased this photo with the caption, “Things are comingggg” while also putting her new blonde hair style on full display.  Billie also teased that a new announcement would be underway on Sunday, with a cryptic post to her Instagram story asking fans, “Tomorrow starts a new week, doesn’t it?” Billie’s official website has also changed to fit the soft neutral tones of her new album’s potential theme, and although we’re still unsure when exactly the new song will drop, fans have lost all chill upon hearing into the musical snippet… not to mention, the MEMES are giving us LIFE.  One user tweeted QUOTE, “God is a woman and her name is Billie Eilish,” while another fan said, “Girls don’t want boyfriends, girls want Billie Eilish to look at them like this.” I mean… they’re not entirely wrong…  Billie’s new album will mark her second studio album following her successful 2019 record When We Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? as she previously credited having so much downtime due to the COVID-19 lockdown for getting her into the studio and finishing the album. She said QUOTE, “I don’t think I would’ve made the same album, or even the album at all, if it weren’t for COVID,” adding that “when things are different in your life, you’re different. That’s just how it is.” Billie has also teased small details about the new album, including the number of songs and her expectations for the new era.  She revealed that there will be 16 tracks, and also explained QUOTE, “There isn’t one song, or one part of one song, that I wish was this, or that I wish it was that,” alluding to the fact that each track turned out exactly how she had hoped. So as if we weren’t already excited about getting new music from Billie, the anticipation is officially at an all-time high, but thankfully the wait is almost over!  But new music isn’t the only new detail in Billie’s life, so click right over here for a rundown on her rumored new relationship. Then be sure to let me know all your thoughts on Billie’s cryptic posts right down here in the comments, and what do you think her new music is going to sound like? I’m your host Carly Henderson, see ya next time!
