The friendly accomplice of the late Big Ang— who lost her life five years ago following a battle with throat cancer — was pronounced dead at Staten Island University Hospital on Thursday. She was 67-years-old.
Ang’s sister Janine Detore relayed the news to TMZ, sharing that Linda ultimately passed after battling for her life on a ventilator not long after learning of her diagnosis.

And Ang — who was a breakout star on the show about women with mob-related ties — became a notable personality on account of her raspy voice and accentuated bust and was given her own show.
She passed away at the age of 55 in 2016, less than a year after a cancerous tumor was discovered in her throat.
Months later the cancer had spread to her brain and lungs, and Torres had made it a point to pay tribute to her on the anniversary of her passing.
Her 2020 post tragically read: ‘Life is not the same without you here . I’m broken-hearted I love u Ang til we are all together again rest easy,’ and Torres’ last social media post came in the form of a January 21 graphic that insinuated struggle.
The post read: ‘God never sends you into a situation alone. God goes before you, he stands beside you, he walks behind you. Whatever situation you have right now be confident. God is with you.’
