Fortnite’s newest in-game emote is a collaborative one. Epic Games this evening announced the launch of “The Renegade,” the viral TikTok dance created by Atlanta teenager Jalaiah Harmon. The Twitter account for Fortnite openly cites Harmon, writing, “Go, go, go, go, let’s go and bust out some [fire] moves by @jalaiah.” It’s not clear whether Epic and Harmon struck some type of licensing deal, but it’s a possibility considering the developer’s rocky legal history with dance emotes. The child has been in the news quite a bit lately after he saved his 4-year old sister from a dog attack. He jumped in front of her as the dog latched on to his face, which resulted in 90 stitches, a black, eye, and a lot of pain. His aunt, Nikki Walker took some time to share Bridger's story with the world and tagged some of the biggest superheroes on the planet, hoping to get just one response.
