World Health Org. Official Says COVID-19 Isnt Seasonal: Its One Big Wave – VladTV

According to the World Health Organization, the COVID-19 virus is far from normal seasonal influenza. WHO described the virus as "one big wave" and warned against countries in the Northern Hemisphere (specifically the United States) approaching the pandemic as they would the flu. WHO official Dr. Margaret Harris said during a briefing on Tuesday, “We are in the first wave. It’s going to be one big wave. It’s going to go up and down a bit. The best thing is to flatten it and turn it into just something lapping at your feet,” adding, “People are still thinking about seasons. What we all need to get our heads around is this is a new virus and...this one is behaving differently.” Harris continued, “Summer is a problem. This virus likes all weather.” Source: reuters.com

In one study published in JAMA, researchers said the blood test could could identify Alzheimer's disease and even detected signs of disease 20 years before cognitive problems were expected in a group of people who carry a rare genetic mutation.  A blood test to detect Alzheimer's disease early could be more precise than memory and thinking tests now used to diagno...
